BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Dovilė Levickienė is an Associate Professor and researcher, as well as the Chair of the Study Program Committee at the Department of Plant Biology and Food Sciences, Faculty of Agronomy, at Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) Agriculture Academy in Lithuania. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2002 and a Master’s degree in the same field in 2004 from the Lithuanian University of Agriculture, Faculty of Agricultural Engineering. In 2018, she obtained her Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences at Aleksandras Stulginskis University.
Doviles Levickienė’s research focuses on the processing, storage, quality, and safety of food raw materials. She possesses professional expertise in developing innovative, high-quality, and value-added food products, as demonstrated by her involvement in both national and international projects. Her professional qualifications are continuously improving through participation in various training courses organized by the Vytautas Magnus university, as well as the Erasmus+ Training and Teaching Programme. Over the past five years, she has authored or co-authored 10 publications indexed in Clarivate Analytics Web of Science with an impact factor and has participated in more than 20 international conferences. Together with her colleagues, she has received awards and recognition from the University: III place (2022) and II place (2025) for the scientific production collection, and Project of the Year (2023) for the international Eureka project.
